Tredoux MB Terms of Service
We pledge to establish lasting relationships with our customers by consistently exceeding their expectations and earning their trust through exceptional performance from every member of our construction team. Our commitment goes beyond delivering high-quality results; we focus on transparent communication, reliability, and personalized service to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. By upholding these standards, we aim to build not only remarkable projects but also enduring partnerships based on mutual respect and satisfaction.

Planning Phase
Every project begins by defining goals and assessing the feasibility of the plan. Early discussions between the owner and architect address needs influenced by local regulations and heritage councils. Architects typically refer to this phase as Conceptual Design. Each project is shaped by its unique variables and budget.

Preconstruction Phase
At this stage, early planning becomes contract documents, and building permit applications are submitted. The tender stage starts, involving engineers, surveyors, and contractors. A Principal-Agent, typically the architect, engineer, or surveyor, represents the client on-site. We use the JBCC contract to manage payment claims, progress, and other aspects.
Construction Phase
Now we execute! You’ll receive a construction progress program detailing project phases. Our construction manager and contractor will bring the plan to life. Our Construction Administration covers quality control inspections and reviews of technical submittals, ensuring smooth progress through careful planning and pre-construction.

Closing Phase
Project closeout goes beyond the punch list; we guide you through the transition to occupancy, provide training, and deliver all essential documents, including manuals, warranties, as-builts, and final accounting. We also test systems to ensure they meet specifications and remind you to switch from construction to permanent property insurance.

Our Quality Guarantee
Quality Assurance (QA) involves planned activities to ensure quality requirements are met before a project starts. The Principal-Agent and site agent will monitor compliance with South African National Standards (SANS). At Tredoux, we are known for our enduring craftsmanship and high-quality work.
